Member of the SMFP (Mexican Professional Photographers Association) and WPPI (Weddings Portrait Photographers International) Gilda was President of the Photographers Association in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Winner of the Double Diamond Prize for best photography service two consecutive years, 1998 and 1999. Winner of the 1st place 2012 in litoprocess with a photo of The Arch of Cabo San Lucas.
